How many images can I merge?
Up to 10 at a time. To build a grid, merge each row side by side first, then merge the rows stacked.

Combine several images side by side or stacked. Free, no sign-up, and your image never leaves your device.
Merging images combines several pictures into a single image file, placed next to each other in a row or stacked in a column. This tool scales the pictures to a common height (or width) so the edges line up, lets you add an even gap between them, and saves one file you can post, send or drop into a document — useful for before-and-after comparisons, step-by-step screenshots and product variations.
Select up to 10 files at once, or add them one by one. JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF (first frame) work.
Use the arrows under each thumbnail to move it earlier or later; the × removes it.
Side by side or stacked. Keep “Match” on so every image has the same height (in a row) or width (in a column).
The gap and any leftover space use the background color. Transparent backgrounds are saved as PNG.
With “Match” on, every image in a row is scaled to the height of the shortest one, keeping its proportions; in a column, to the width of the narrowest one. Scaling down rather than up keeps everything sharp. Turn “Match” off to keep each image at its original size — smaller images are then centered against the largest one, with the background filling the rest.
The finished image is limited to about 16 megapixels so it can be created on phones too; larger combinations are scaled down evenly to fit.
A single combined image is easier to share than several separate ones:
Choose PNG for screenshots, text and graphics — it keeps edges perfectly crisp. Choose JPG for photos: the file is usually several times smaller and the difference is invisible. A transparent background always saves as PNG, because JPG cannot store transparency.
Imagelier’s main tool
Making a before-and-after of a translated screenshot or an updated menu? The editor is how you make the “after”: click the text and type the new words. Imagelier erases the old words, rebuilds the background and sets the new text at the original size, weight and color — no Photoshop needed.

Yes — set a gap and choose white or black as the background. The gap is filled with that color.
Images are only scaled down when they need to match a smaller one. PNG output is lossless; JPG is saved at high quality (92).
No. They are combined in your browser on your device.
